Since moving to the Seattle area in 2008, I’ve come to miss the great indie Christian music scene in Sacramento, California. After slowly discovering the venue’s here in Seattle (El Corazon, The Showbox, etc), I realized that Christian and secular acts tended to play together; Apparently, it’s just the nature of larger Seattle venues.
After a painstaking adventure trying to sift through the acts coming to town, from the obviously Christian bands to the Christians in a band, I’d finally find an act worth watching. Of course, once the time came to see the show, I’d forget something: the name, the other bands, the venue. I attempted to use the Myspace calendar; It failed.
Finally, after some thinking, I decided that keeping track of the bands in a separate location would be in my best interest. Thus, I forked over the cash for this site. Mainly for myself, but for anyone else in the Seattle area in need of this information, welcome.
